Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Loopsmith, operated by Dale Creative Works LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the service

Loopsmith is a practice tool that provides playback controls for publicly available YouTube videos via the YouTube IFrame API. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial practice and learning purposes.

You agree not to:

• Use the service to download, rip, or redistribute YouTube video content
• Circumvent any access restrictions or usage limits
• Use the service in any way that violates YouTube's Terms of Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service

2. Accounts

You may use Loopsmith without an account with limited functionality. Creating an account gives you access to features such as saving videos, creating persistent loops, and syncing across devices. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Loopsmith offers a free tier with limited features and paid subscription plans with expanded access. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not apply to the current billing period.

4. Refund policy

Subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, and you will retain access to all features through the end of your current billing period.

We do not offer refunds for partial months. However, if you are a new subscriber and are unsatisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first charge by contacting us via our contact page.

Refunds are issued at our discretion for extenuating circumstances such as duplicate charges or billing errors.

5. Content and intellectual property

Loopsmith does not host, store, or redistribute any YouTube video content. Videos are streamed directly from YouTube through the official IFrame API. All video content remains the property of its respective owners.

The data you create within the service (loop names, timestamps, notes) belongs to you. We claim no ownership over your user-generated data.

6. Availability and warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Video playback depends on YouTube's availability and API policies, which are outside our control.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dale Creative Works LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the service.

8. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior. Upon termination, your saved data will be permanently deleted.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
